The COVID-19 outbreak had a huge impact on Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s services, which are relied on by thousands of people all over the country.
We put together a to-the-point appeal focussing on the expert guidance and emotional support the charity offers, and the record demand it was facing (with the NHS referring people daily, calls to the Crohn’s and Colitis UK helpline had risen by 400% and visits to the website have increased by 600%).
The appeal was for warm supporters who are part of the Crohn’s & Colitis UK community – thanking those who have already donated and asking for a gift in these unprecedented times. Our in-house Insight Team acted fast, pulling together a segmentation and targeting plan and adapting a recent mailing file with a simple, effective static 3 ask structure.
